Founder and CEO
Jacob Cohen, founder and CEO of South Pacific Rehab Services was born in Bucharest, Romania. In his early adolescence, he and his family immigrated to Israel. Jacob served in the Israeli Air force for 6 years.
His older sister, a renowned medical doctor, has inspired him to continue his studies and pursue a career in Physical Therapy. Jacob was admitted to Cal State Long Beach. In 1977, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy.
In 1979, Jacob founded South Pacific Rehab Services with the vision of providing the full spectrum of rehabilitation services such as: Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy, in Skilled Nursing Facilities and Acute Hospitals. He is a member of APTA.
Thorough the years, Jacob continued to develop and expand his business, opening his first Outpatient Clinic in 1985, in the city of Encino, CA. In the mid '90s he opened two more locations in the cities of Glendora (now, Azusa location) and Lancaster. Coming this November (2011), Jacob is launching his newest location, in Sherman Oaks!
Jacob enjoys spending his free time with his wife and their three children.
